EquiLottery to Highlight Emerging Live Sports
Lottery Category at Top Gaming Conferences
LOUISVILLE, KY (May 2, 2018) - Much
of the discussion around sports gaming in the U.S., and the potential of PASPA
being overturned by the Supreme Court, has been focused on traditional
sportsbooks. State lotteries have been a central piece of this discussion as a
regulatory body. But thats only one piece of the puzzle. EquiLottery
founder and CEO Brad Cummings will be speaking at top gaming conferences this
summer such as GiGse and the East Coast Gaming Congress to share his vision for
games of chance based on live sporting events.
When looking at the issue
of sports gaming in the U.S., theres no doubt lotteries will play an
important role in its growth, said Clarion Gamings Head of
Content, Ewa Bakun, which organizes GiGse as well as ICE London and the
successful Sports Betting USA conference which returns to New York in October.
The vision that Mr. Cummings and EquiLottery has set out for lotteries
in this sector, not just as regulatory agencies but also in developing a new
lottery game category, makes his perspective an important one as we dig deep
into the what sports gaming means for the U.S. marketplace. We are confident
this perspective will be a great addition to GiGse 2018 as we set out to put
North American gambling, gaming and betting under the microscope."

Sports gaming has become the topic
du jour in the U.S. gaming industry as the Supreme Court considers arguments on
a New Jersey challenge to PASPA, the long-standing federal law prohibiting the
placing of bets on live sports. Regardless of its outcome, this challenge has
created new energy around the idea that sports betting is coming to America.
Conferences serving the gaming industry are making this a primary topic at
their meetings in 2018.
As debate swirls around the
future of sports gaming, were particularly interested in the perspectives
of those who are finding innovative ways to bring this emerging form of gaming
to the masses, said Michael Pollock, Managing Director of Spectrum
Gaming Group, and co-founder of the East Coast Gaming Congress.
EquiLottery has developed a game of chance that offers an intriguing
spin on a classic product. Our audience is eager to understand how this
pioneering product can enhance experiences with lotteries and casinos, as well
as how it can evolve beyond horse racing into other live sporting
events.
EquiLottery is primarily known for
developing a three number lottery game based on the results of live horse races
and has continued to gain traction in the lottery industry since its public
introduction to the marketplace in 2014. Creating partnerships and signing
agreements with key players in both lottery and horse racing, including IGT
Global Solutions, AmTote International and Penn National Gaming, EquiLottery
has carved out a niche that has laid the groundwork for a new category in
lottery which will transcend even its current focus on live horse racing.
Industry participants and conference organizers are taking notice.
We are pleased and humbled
to play a role in this important discussion for the gaming industry at
large, said Cummings. Weve long held the belief that
sports gaming is a when, not if issue in the U.S. To now be a voice
in this burgeoning market is a great honor and validation of our efforts over
the past few years. Our vision for live sports lottery and the corresponding
intellectual property we have secured in the U.S. and Canada goes well beyond
our current product line and will lead to the introduction of a new category in
lottery a live sports lottery category to the general
public."
About GiGse
GiGses two-day program, which
takes place alongside the co-located Juegos Miami, will feature a wide range of
industry debates including the monetization of sports betting and its

Pennsylvania Lottery Launches Keno
MIDDLETOWN, Pa. (April 30, 2018) --
Keno, a fast-paced game with drawings every four minutes, goes on sale Tuesday,
May 1, at Pennsylvania Lottery retailers.
Keno play starts at $1. Players
choose up to 10 numbers, or spots, from 1 to 80. A computer randomly draws 20
winning numbers. The more spots players match, the more they can win.
"Pennsylvania Lottery Keno
players are going to love this exciting, new way to play and win," said
Lottery Executive Director Drew Svitko. "Although you can play Keno at any
Lottery retailer, it's the first game we've specifically marketed to businesses
where adults gather to have fun such as bars and restaurants."
Keno players can watch drawing
results on big-screen monitors at hundreds of locations with many more
locations coming in the weeks and months ahead. Players can also watch an
animated depiction of the drawing they played by visiting the Keno page at
palottery.com or by using the Lottery's official mobile app.

"Keno, along with our upcoming
iLottery mobile/online games and Xpress Sports games, will bring the
Pennsylvania Lottery into the modern gaming era while generating essential new
funds to benefit older Pennsylvanians," Svitko noted.
Keno kick-off events are planned at
many Lottery retailers. Visit palottery.com for a list of locations.
As with all Pennsylvania Lottery
games, Keno players must be 18 or older.
How to play Keno: Using a playslip,
players select up to 10 numbers, or SPOTS, from 1 to 80 or opt for
computer-selected Quick Picks. Players can spend $1, $2, $3, $4, $5, $10, or
$20 per play, and prizes increase as the play amount increases. The number of
SPOTS selected does not change the cost of play. Players may play consecutive
drawings. Purchasing the Keno Multiplier option multiplies prizes by 2, 3, 4,
5, or 10 times. The option triples the cost of a play.
Every four minutes, the Lottery's
computer randomly generates 20 winning numbers. Players may watch drawing
results on a monitor, or visit the Keno page at palottery.com or use the
Lottery's mobile app to watch an animated depiction of the drawing they played.
Players should scan their ticket to determine if it has won a prize. Find Keno
prizes, chances of winning and game rules at palottery.com.

"We still show that it is
possible to combine growth while taking clear responsibility for gaming.
Customers respond positively to the news we deliver and in gaming
responsibility, we see more and more volunteers shut down or pause themselves
from gaming. By the end of March, approximately 21,100 customers were
voluntarily suspended from gaming, "says Lennart Käll, President and
CEO of Svenska Spel.
During the quarter Svenska Spel
launched a subscription service for Lotto, an app for Oddset, and the range of
sports games has been expanded in terms of life games.
Throughout March, approximately
21,000 matches and sporting events have been offered compared with 10,000 the
same period last year.
In parallel with the regular
activities, Svenska Spel also works with the adaptation and division of the
organization to meet the legal requirements of the new gaming market, which is
expected to come into force on January 1, 2019.
"We are still strong as the
entire Swedish people's gaming company and meet customer demand for gaming
experience with an expanded range and product development. Customers continue
to give us high ratings in our satisfied customer index, and with broad margins
we have the highest image value of the gaming companies. We look forward to the

Svenska Spel's Retiring CEO Expresses Confidence in the Future
at Annual General Meeting
VISBY, Sweden (April 25, 2018)
Lennart Käll's last annual general meeting as CEO of Svenska Spel
was characterized by calm and confidence. In his speech, he welcomed his
competitors to the new Swedish licensing market. At the same time, he
emphasized the possibilities for Svenska Spel, which reached record levels in
customer satisfaction in 2017.
The result for 2017 was just over
SEK 4.7 billion, which goes to the treasury. The result is marginally lower
than 2016, mainly due to increased operating expenses by 2.4 percent. In his
AGM, Lennart Käll touched the reasons:
In part, we have one-time
costs for adapting Svenska Spel to the licensing market and to address the new
data protection regulation GDPR. But it also costs more to keep its market
positions. The gaming industry's marketing increased by 44 percent in 2017 and
now amounts to 5.5 billion. Svenska Spel accounts for less than a tenth of this
- so I find it impressive that we can hold a market share of 40
percent.
 |
In addition, Lennart Käll
emphasized how conscious efforts on increased supply and smoother gaming
experiences led to new record levels for customer satisfaction. Svenska Spels
NKI (satisfied customer index) amounted to 70 percent during the year
all-time high.
"We have tripled the number of
sports items, made Viking lottery tickets, made possible via BankID, released
the Oddset Challenge game and million rain on Lotto, opened for payment via
Swish ... time is not enough for me to tell us everything we've done.
And by 2019, Lennart Käll sees
new opportunities:
It may include games on
e-sports, online casino, equestrian sports, fantasy leagues
At the same time, Käll was
clear that responsibility continues to go ahead of Svenska Spel's profit and
proudly told that about 20,000 customers currently closed off games for three
months or longer, something that the company welcomes.
"We always strive for our revenue
to be healthy! said Lennart Käll and greeted his successor - "who it is
now" - welcome to "one of Sweden's best and most complex jobs!"
All members of Svenska Spel's Board
were re-elected at the meeting. The owner's assessment is that the board has a
versatility and breadth in terms of competence, experience and background.
Erik Strand still gained confidence
as Chairman of the Board while Lars Nilsson, senior economist, with management
background from Tele2 and Axfood, was elected as a new member.
Lars Nilsson was welcomed as a new
board member of Svenska Spel.

Discover Deep, New Riches in Reels of
Wealth
VALETTA, Malta (April 26, 2018) --
Rich in more ways than one, Reels of Wealth is the new, multi-layered 5x3 slot
game from Betsoft Gaming. Continuing Betsofts tradition of
innovation, Reels of Wealth takes the proprietary Trail System to
the next level - providing a sense of progression as players hop into a hoard
of different bonus features and begin collecting symbols.
Designed to match the immediate
aesthetic appeal of traditional slots, Reels of Wealth employs clear,
compelling symbols and mechanics in its base game. Gemstones, gold
bullion, piles of paper currency, heaving sacks of valuables, and gleaming
chests full of gold are all basic symbols, with a potent paytable that rewards
lines from left to right, right to left, and centre outwards all
multiplied by the players current bet line.
Go beyond the basics and Reels of
Wealth will reveal a treasure trove of rewarding gameplay innovations: five
additional mechanics and a fully-featured mini-game. First, every winning
line in the base game awards a free re-spin, and when these wins begin to stack
(from 3 consecutive wins onwards), a multiplier of up to 3x is applied to every
subsequent win. Where a win includes one or more wild symbols, an
additional multiplier of up to 4x will be applied, and players can gamble all
or half of any standard win on the heads-or-tails Double-Up game, for the
chance to double their final payout.

Reels of Wealth lives up to its name
by offering players the chance to win big in the base game, promoting longer,
more rewarding sessions, but the largest potential for a life-changing payday
is in the MEGASTAR free spins mode. When they find 3 or more MEGASTAR
symbols anywhere in the main game, players are transported to a new 4x8 grid
with its own dedicated set of symbols, including a high-paying diamond scatter
and four jackpot symbols Legend, Hero, Star and Megastar that
correspond to four different trails of ascending length, displayed to the left
of the grid. Players collect and secure these different symbols through
free spins (as many as 25 spins, to collect between 7 and 9 symbols depending
on trail length,) using the exclusive Trail System to move each of
the four trails towards the biggest payouts available in the game.
Our goal with Reels of
Wealth was to create an immediately captivating game that also had considerable
depth, explained Dan Cooper, Head of Product Development at
Betsoft. With re-spins, rolling wins, and a common symbol set, the
base game is seriously inviting, with the potential for significant wins.
But the MEGASTAR mode - essentially a game-within-a-game opens up even
more opportunities, with four different jackpots, and a totally unique player
journey powered by our in-house Trail System.
Developed for cross-device
compatibility from day one, Reels of Wealth is built on the Betsoft SHIFT
platform. Designed to reduce file sizes, speed loading, and enable new
experiences like the Trail System, SHIFT guarantees that the same great
gameplay reaches players on whatever platform they choose.
