International Game Technology PLC ("IGT") (NYSE: IGT) today reported results
for GTECH S.p.A.'s ("GTECH") first quarter of 2015 and for International Game
Technology's ("Legacy IGT") second quarter of 2015, ended March 31, 2015. The
combination of GTECH and Legacy IGT was completed on April 7, 2015. As such,
results presented in this news release are for periods predating the
combination and during which each company was under separate management. The
respective reporting formats of the legacy companies have been maintained in
this release for ease of comparison. The results in this news release relating
to GTECH are presented in Euros under International Financial Reporting
Standards ("IFRS") and results relating to Legacy IGT are presented in U.S.
Dollars under U.S. generally accepted accounting principles ("GAAP"). IGT will
begin reporting as a combined entity with its second quarter of 2015 results

EBITDA is principally comprised of
operating income plus depreciation, amortization, and impairment. EBITDA is
considered an alternative performance measure that is not a defined measure
under IFRS and may not take into account the recognition, measurement and
presentation requirements associated with IFRS. We believe that EBITDA assists
in explaining trends in our operating performance, provides useful information
about our ability to incur and service indebtedness and is a commonly used
measure of performance by securities analysts and investors in the gaming
industry. EBITDA should not be considered as an alternative to operating income
as an indicator of our performance or to cash flows as a measure of our
liquidity. As we define it, EBITDA may not be comparable to other similarly
titled measures used by other companies.
Revenues grew 3% to 808 million from 781 million in the
first quarter of 2014. This increase was principally driven by higher service
revenues, which rose 4% to 755 million from 729 million in the
prior year, reflecting net favorable foreign currency effects and lottery
growth in Italy and the Americas. Product sales of 52 million were in
line with the prior year as lower lottery product sales in the Americas and
International machine gaming revenues were offset by favorable currency

Revenues in the Americas segment
grew 23% to 300 million in the quarter. In constant currency and
excluding pass-through reimbursements, Revenues were up 4%. Service revenues
increased 26%, supported by favorable foreign currency effects; strong instant
ticket sales and multistate jackpot activity; and substantial growth for
machine gaming operations. Product sales of 34 million in the quarter
were modestly above the prior year period, as a significant increase in machine
gaming revenues and favorable foreign currency effects were partially offset by
lower lottery product sales.
Operating Income from the Americas
segment of 46 million was 51% greater than the prior year period,
reflecting favorable foreign currency effects, strong lottery same-store
revenue growth, and higher machine gaming profits from both product sales and
the contribution from a larger installed base of gaming machines.
Revenues in the International
segment were 77 million, 1 million greater than the prior year,
driven by favorable foreign currency effects and increased lottery revenues
that were partially offset by lower machine gaming product sales.
International lottery same-store
revenues were up approximately 11% compared to the same period in 2014,
reflecting continued strength in instant ticket sales in the United Kingdom and
robust jackpot growth in Eastern Europe.
Operating Income in the
International segment was 13 million versus 15 million in the first
quarter of last year, as higher lottery profits were more than offset by lower
product sales and a broad mix of items.
Revenues in Italy were 430
million compared to 461 million in the first quarter of 2014, principally
due to higher sports betting payout. While sports betting wagers were up 2% in
the first quarter, sports betting revenues were 39 million compared to
62 million last year due to a 10 percentage point increase in payout.
Total Lotto wagers for the quarter
were up 16% to 1.82 billion compared to 1.57 billion last year,
driven by strong performance in 10eLotto and late-numbers. Instant-ticket
wagers declined 7% to 2.30 billion versus 2.48 billion last year,
partially due to the cadence of new product introductions.
Machine gaming revenues were
135 million versus 145 million last year, reflecting the impact of
the new Italian Stability Law.
Operating Income of 140
million compared to 158 million last year primarily reflects the impact
of the higher sports betting payout.

New Digital Single Market Strategy for the EU
Lotteries support a
well-regulated EU internal market that takes subsidiarity principle and

association welcomes the approach followed by the European Commission in its
strategy to boost the digital economy in the EU context where 28 jurisdictions

adopted its "Digital Single Market Strategy for Europe" which includes
16 initiatives to boost the digital economy and foster the internal market

A non-profit organization developed
by psychologist Dr. Richard Wood, GamTalk has been operating successfully in
Canada since 2008. Partnering with the Oregon Lottery will be the first time a
U.S. lottery has adopted this service.

EUROMAT Joins Formal State Aid Complaint to the European
Dutch Gaming Tax
Proposals Constitute Illegal State Aid
The NETHERLANDS (May 11, 2015) --
The European Amusement and Gaming Federation EUROMAT has joined its Dutch
member, the VAN Kansspelen Branche-organisatie, in filing a formal state aid
complaint to the European Commission. The complaint argues that the Dutch
Government will violate EU law if it allows online gambling companies to
benefit from a tax rate of 20% compared to the 29% currently paid by their

fiery debate at EUROMATs Gaming Summit on the 28th of May in Amsterdam.
The Dutch State Secretary for Security and Justice Klass Dijkhoff is set to
give a key note speech at the event and is likely to receive a tough reception
from industry operators who feel that this proposal is simply an unjustified
subsidy for online companies.
EUROMAT President Annette Kok warned
that the Dutch Governments reasoning simply doesnt add up
The Dutch Government has failed to demonstrate that this aid is
necessary. Online operators will have to enter regulated markets and pay the
applicable tax rates if they want to grow; for that reason licences will be
attractive to online operators even if they have to pay the same tax as
land-based businesses. The Dutch Government has provided no evidence to the

will be consistent with the common interest objectives of the
Dutch Government: If they are allowed to push this through all they will
achieve is a huge boost to the marketing budgets of international online

Government is only going to succeed in increasing consumption overall with a
likely rise in the risk of problem gambling.
Commenting on the decision to file,
EUROMAT Secretary General Kieran OKeeffe said: EUROMAT is taking
a stand against a national policy decision which we believe is non-compliant
with European law and is not in the interests of European consumers or our
private sector is united in its opposition to a proposal which unfairly
discriminates against bricks and mortar businesses with no evidence to suggest
that it will fulfil the intended objectives.

OLG Celebrates 40th Anniversary of Wintario With Support For Local
Charities And Toronto 2015 Pan Am Games Torch Relay

Ontario Lottery and Gaming
Corporation (OLG) is celebrating the 40th anniversary of WINTARIO
Ontarios first provincial lottery game. The anniversary was marked with a
celebration today at Torontos Yonge-Dundas Square where OLG previewed its
support of the TORONTO 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Am Games Torch Relay and introduced
the All for Community Challenge initiative, which builds on
WINTARIOs legacy of support in local communities throughout the
The first WINTARIO lottery draw was
broadcast live on TV on May 15, 1975 from the Ontario Science Centre in
Toronto. As part of todays celebration, former WINTARIO host Faye Dance
shared memories of her time travelling across Ontario with the live broadcast.
For 22 years, WINTARIO held its
draws across the province, in big cities, small towns and even smaller
villages, giving away hundreds of thousands of dollars in lottery prizes and
creating great legacies in each of those communities. Faye highlighted the
important contributions WINTARIO grants made in communities such as the
building of recreation centres, arenas and art galleries.
Todays WINTARIO celebration
was also attended by World Trampoline champion, Olympic and Pan Am gold
medallist Rosie MacLennan. Rosie spoke about the importance of supporting
amateur athletics in Ontario. Since January 2006, OLGs Quest for Gold
program has provided $93 million in support for Ontarios amateur athletes
and their coaches.
Beginning May 30, 3,000 torchbearers
will carry the Pan Am flame that will share the Pan Am spirit in more than 130

in dozens of those communities with exciting day and evening events. The Pan Am
flame will make its final stop July 10, 2015 at the Opening Ceremony of the
TORONTO 2015 Pan Am Games.
In the proud tradition of WINTARIO,
and central to OLGs support for the TORONTO 2015 Pan Am Games Torch
Relay, is the All for Community Challenge initiative which
celebrates the work of local charities throughout Ontario.
Select local charities will have an
opportunity to vie for a share of $10,000.
Just as the torch relay will leave
behind indelible memories of the excitement of the games, the All for
Community Challenge will help local charities create lasting legacies in
dozens of communities.

AGTech Announce 2015 First Quarterly Results
- Shows strong sales momentum with revenue
rising 88.5% year-over-year

AGTech Holdings Limited (AGTech, together with its subsidiaries,

in Chinas lottery market, announced its 2015 first quarterly results
reaching sustaining business growth.
During the quarter under review, the
Group recorded an increase in sales of approximately 88.5% to HK$48.5 million
while gross profit increased by approximately 20.9% to HK$14.9 million. Most of
the revenue was derived from the gaming technologies business (game software,
systems, hardware and terminals) and the provision of sports lottery management
and marketing consultancy services in the PRC. The increase in revenue was
mainly due to the improvement of the sales of the Groups hardware

During the quarter under review, the
Group continued to supply its virtual sports lottery games e-Ball

majority-owned joint venture with Ladbroke Group (a world leader in sports

launch of Lucky Racing and e-Ball Lottery, virtual sports lottery has become a
high growth and diversified game category and it is fully accepted by
Lucky Racing has become a very
popular lottery game in Hunan Sports Lottery. The Groups technical
partners at the Sports Lottery have completed the technical preparation work of
the national high frequency game platform and have satisfied the technical
requirements necessary to carry the Lucky Racing game to other provinces beyond
Hunan and the game is expected to be supplied to more province(s) in China in
the relatively near future. In close cooperation with the customers and the
relevant lottery authorities in China, the Group is continually optimising
e-Ball Lottery and is encouraged by the potential of this game. Like Lucky
Racing, the Group expected that the game will roll out to more provinces in

To date, Lucky Racing and e-Ball
Lottery have been successfully launched in traditional dedicated Sports Lottery
shops and the games are expected to be deployed to more province(s) via this
channel. In addition, in due course, the games could be deployed in selected
leisure venues (such as coffee shops and restaurants) and, as approved lottery
products, the games have the potential to expand nationwide through other
remote channels such as mobile and internet.
Gaming Hardware and Research
Through GOT and the recently
acquired Zoom Read, AGTechs hardware division supplies 29 provinces,
cities and municipalities in China with lottery hardware. Zoom Read is a
leading manufacturer and supplier of paper scratch card sales hardware in China
while GOT is the leading manufacturer and supplier of betting terminal
equipment of Chinas Sports Lottery.
AGTech is continuing to pursue
international opportunities for its hardware and currently the Group is in
active discussions with a number of potential international customers and/or
distributors and the Group has machines live or on trial in markets such as
South Africa, Cyprus, the United Kingdom, Italy, Austria and Canada. In

In the internet channel, the
authorities are working on a national (as opposed to provincial) internet
